On the 240/260, the engine code and model year determine which intake and manifold parts fit – a B230F with LH-jet takes different inlet manifolds than a V6 B27/B28 or diesel D24. Cracks in the exhaust manifold, a sluggish Pulsair valve or clogged crankcase ventilation show up as rough idle, whistling and oil mist, so it is important to match the right version.
