Volvo 1800 Heater system/Fresh air (1961-73)

Brittle heater hoses, leaking gaskets and a heater core that drips into the footwell are classic symptoms of an 1800 that's starting to show its age. When airflow gets weak or the defroster won't keep the windshield clear, the fault often lies in aged rubber, loose hose clamps or a clogged grille.
