Volvo 1800 Engine throttle linkage

A stiff choke cable that won't pull back, or a throttle cable that binds against the sill, shows up immediately on cold starts and throttle response. On the 1800 with the B18 and B20B carburetor engines, mixture and engine speed are controlled mechanically via cables and linkage, and over the years the sleeves dry out, anchorages rust and the return movement becomes sluggish.
