Cracked vinyl trim, faded headrests and worn-through mats are the first things to betray an 1800 that has covered many miles. Because the cabin differs between the Jensen builds (chassis 1–6000), the Swedish-built 1800S and the later 1800E/1800ES, it is the year model and version that decide which parts match the color code, stitching and cabin shape. Vinyl color codes (e.g. code-329) determine that trim, panels and mats harmonize during a partial restoration.
