Petrol tank for Volvo 1800S 1961-69
P1800
- Year:
- 1961-1969
A leaking valve cover, clogged crankcase ventilation or a frost plug that has started to seep – on the 1800 the engine variant determines which parts fit, and the difference between the B18 and B20 is decisive. The B18B at 1,778 cc with dual SU carburettors is fitted in the early cars, while the B20 at 1,986 cc took over from model year 1969 and later came as the fuel-injected B20E with Bosch D-Jetronic. Cylinder heads, gaskets and seals differ between the generations, so it pays to start from the right engine.
