About Classic Volvo Restoration
Classic Volvo Restoration offers a broad and carefully selected range of parts to keep your classic Volvo on the road for many years to come. A large share of our range is still manufactured in Sweden and rightly carries the Made in Sweden label.
The journey began in 2010 when retired pilot and Volvo enthusiast Toje Carlin founded CVR in North America to supply the market with quality parts for classic Volvos. Today we operate from our own 2,500 sqm warehouse outside Ulricehamn in southern Sweden, while our North American operation helps us serve customers around the world quickly and reliably.
I usually say I was born straight into a Volvo. Not figuratively, but almost literally. My father, Lennart Johansson, introduced me early on to a steel-blue 1971 Volvo 1800E — a car with that proper solid clunk when the doors close and a cabin that smelled a bit of leather, a bit of petrol, and a bit of future.
So my interest in classic Volvos is not something I discovered later in life — it has been there from the beginning.
That is probably also why I like contrasts. It can be refined and raw at the same time. Polished chrome and dirty hands. Sunday detailing and Monday wrenching. A car that looks like it belongs in a museum — yet still has to start in sub-zero temperatures without complaining.
Our ambition is to be the natural quality choice for your classic Volvo, with genuine passion, expertise, and respect for cars that deserve to keep rolling on our roads.

GENUINE PASSION AND REAL QUALITY
We’ve been around for a long time, and the goal has always been the same: to be a shop that feels straightforward, fair and honest for those of us who drive Volvo. Not just adding parts to a cart, but actually helping you avoid unnecessary hassle, wrong orders and that sinking “oh…” feeling in the middle of the garage.
Things really took off when we started solving what was missing: glass, lights and body panels – parts that had disappeared from the market but were still essential if these cars were going to live on. From there, it simply kept growing: more parts, deeper knowledge and the same focus on making sure everything works exactly as it should.
Today, you’ll find more than just body and lighting parts. We also stock the components that need to be right for the car to feel safe and solid: brakes, shock absorbers and brake discs – plus much more for your Volvo.
And one more thing we’re truly proud of: much of it is still made here in Sweden. That’s why we can say Made in Sweden — and genuinely mean it.

Made in Sweden – for real
Made in Sweden – for real
We’re proud that much of what we offer is still made in Sweden. Not because it looks good on a label, but because it shows where it matters: the right materials, the right fit, the right durability – and the fact that it works when you’re standing in the garage with cold fingers, trying to get the car back together before Sunday night.
Our philosophy is simple: solid quality, real product knowledge and a personal approach. CVR should be the place where you feel that someone on the other side of the screen understands the difference between “it should fit” and “it fits straight away”.

Where do we ship?
Today, we pack and ship from a well-stocked warehouse just outside Ulricehamn. At the same time, we’ve built a setup that allows us to reach customers far away without unnecessary hassle. The idea is simple: you should be able to order quality parts and have them delivered – whether you live around the corner or on the other side of the world.
Even as we’ve grown, there’s one thing we refuse to let go of: the personal touch. We want to be a shop that feels like a garage – straightforward, helpful, slightly nerdy and genuinely warm. The kind of place where you feel that someone actually understands why it has to be right — not just “close enough”.
