Volvo 740/760/780 Front suspension
Tapered bushings in the reaction rods are the single biggest wear point on the front suspension in the 700 series – when they wear out the steering wanders and brake dive becomes unsettled. The front suspension is based on MacPherson struts with rack-and-pinion steering, and the steering gear ratio comes in several makes (CAM/TRW, Koyo and ZF) depending on model year, which determines which servo lines and gasket sets fit.
