Fuel tank for Volvo 140, 164, 1967-73
Volvo 140, 164
A rusty tank that clogs the lines and a fuel pump that loses pressure are among the classics when a 140 or 164 needs to be brought back to life. Which part fits is governed by engine and model year – the carburetor cars (B18, B20A/B) have a mechanical pump and a simple tank, while injected B20E/F and B30E require matching injection and tank design. From 1973 onward, tanks with evaporite control were added as well, which makes the year decisive.
