The group includes complete fuel pumps, repair kits with diaphragm and valves, gaskets and the spacer washer against the block, studs, plus fuel hose and grommet. An air filter is also included as a nearby wear part for the same job.
A common check point during a rebuild is the spacer washer thickness and the condition of the gaskets – the wrong stack-up here gives either too low a pressure or an oil leak at the pump foot. Also check that the hoses have not hardened and cracked.
