For those who want to ditch the breaker points, there is everything needed for a breakerless ignition system on the B18.
When rebuilding, a typical check point is play in the distributor shaft and the function of the vacuum advance – if they are worn, you notice it right away in the timing and idle. Make sure the gasket against the block is tight so oil does not creep up.
