During a front brake overhaul it is worth checking the caliper for play and leakage, the disc thickness and runout, and that the splash guard sits correctly against the hub.
Keep in mind that bolted joints on the 122 are often in UNF thread – match the correct screw and wheel bolt when replacing. With the dual-circuit system, the front brake is its own hydraulic circuit, which means parts that fit earlier single-circuit cars are not always interchangeable here.
