Information

The design with a separate steel hub provides high strength and improved durability under load compared to simpler designs.
This construction also allows workshops and specialists to rebuild the hub by replacing the disc once the wear limit is reached.

For Volvo PV, this part is only suitable when converting to front disc brakes.

Installation instructions

• Ensure all contact surfaces are clean and free from dirt, rust, and grease

• Check that calipers and brake pads move freely

• Make sure the brake system and suspension are in good condition

• Tighten wheel bolts or nuts evenly in a cross pattern using the correct torque

 

Important

• Always replace brake discs in pairs on the same axle

• Replacing only one disc may cause uneven braking performance

• Always replace brake pads when installing new brake discs

• Avoid heavy braking for the first approx. 300 km (200 miles) for proper bedding-in
