Crankshaft Volvo B30 (1974-)
Oil leaks at the crankshaft seal, oil consumption or a rattling cam drive are classic signs that the crank motion in a B30 needs attention. The inline six is considered very reliable and handles high mileage, but piston rings, seals and cam gears are wear parts that belong to a proper engine rebuild.
