The group includes exhaust valves, valve guides, valve springs and complete valve sets, together with a cam gear set, thrust flange, washers and nuts for the camshaft drive. During a cylinder head job, the play in the valve guides and the length of the springs are typical check points – replacing them at the same time gives you even compression and a stable idle. The B30E was fitted with D-Jetronic injection, and tightly sealing valves are essential for the injection to work correctly. The parts are gathered for the 164 with the fuel-injected B30E and B30F engines.
