Brake shoe set for Volvo PV, Duett
211 kr
Tired return springs and grooved brake drums are among the first symptoms when the rear brake on a 544 with B18 starts to lose both braking force and even distribution. This category gathers wear and rebuild parts for the rear drum brake on 1962-66 cars, where the B18 engine and the 12V system had taken over.

When rebuilding the rear brake, return springs, thrust pins, springs and rubber caps are typical checkpoints together with complete mounting kits, screws and grease for correct reassembly. Brake drums are also included, so a worn or turned drum can be replaced in pairs for even braking. The 544 ran with four hydraulic drum brakes, and going through the springs and pressure points specifically usually solves both uneven brake grip and sticking rear shoes.
