The group includes individual gaskets, gasket sets, soot cleaning kits for the cylinder head job, felt rings and completion kits. During a cylinder head rebuild, the cylinder head gasket, valve cover gasket and the intake/exhaust manifold seals are the natural checkpoints – the soot cleaning kit gathers the gaskets that are loosened when the cylinder head is removed.
The B18 arrived in August 1961 together with the 12-volt system and came in several versions, from the single-carburetor B18A to the twin-carburetor B18B/B18D. The sealing needs follow the motor, but always check the version and any previous modifications before ordering a set.
