A hard-to-start engine, rough idle or a stutter under revs is often caused by tired ignition parts – burnt points, a worn distributor or an ignition coil that loses its spark once it gets hot. The right distributor depends on the engine code, so B16, B18 and B20 each have their own variant with its own number. Keeping them apart is critical for correct ignition timing and fit.
