Rusty brake pipes and cracked rubber hoses are a classic find when an early B16 122 is taken apart – and since these cars run a single-circuit system on four drums, a single leak means all braking effect is lost. That makes the entire line routing an obvious checkpoint during a restoration.

This group includes brake pipes, brake hoses and complete brake hose sets, plus clamps and screws to fasten the pipes neatly to the body and axles. You'll also find a brake light switch and assembly aids such as plastilube and grease for threads and connections. The brake hoses are wear parts that harden and collapse internally over the years, giving sluggish return and uneven braking – better to replace them as a set than one at a time. Keep in mind that the B16 cars are 6-volt cars from before B18/12-volt (August 1961), so the brake light switch must be chosen accordingly.
