Rusty brake pipes and hard, cracked brake hoses are the most common reason to dig into the brake system on an early 1800 with the B18. On cars before chassis #7000 there is also a single-circuit master cylinder, which means that a single leak can cause a total loss of pressure – making it all the more important that the lines are intact and properly clamped.

This group includes brake pipes (among them the long pipe running between front and rear), brake hoses, clamps for mounting plus nipples and screws to pull the system together tightly. There is also a brake light switch, plastilube and grease that belong to the rebuild. The parts are gathered for the single-circuit configuration up to chassis #6999, so you get the correct routing and connections for that specific early build.
When you replace pipes it is worth checking the inside of the hoses and the clamp mounts at the same time, since corrosion often hides right under the clamp.
