Rusty brake pipes along the frame and swollen rubber hoses are among the first things you condemn when the pedal feels spongy on an 1800 with a B20. From model year 1969 (chassis #28300) the car switched to dual-circuit brakes, which means separate pipe runs front and rear – a split circuit lets you keep braking even if one line bursts.

This category gathers parts for the entire brake line: brake pipes in continuous lengths and pre-bent longitudinal pipes, brake hoses and complete brake hose kits, clamps that hold the pipes against the body and frame, plus nipples and wave washers for tight joints. Plastilube and grease are used to protect nipple threads and locking edges against seizing.
Common inspection points during a restoration are the internal condition of the hoses (they often become porous on the inside without showing it on the outside) and the flares on the pipe ends – a worn flare leaks even with a new nipple. Specify the position as front left or rear right when matching longitudinal pipes, since the routing differs between sides.
