The group includes seals and gaskets with complete gasket sets, ball bearings and rollers for shafts and bearings, companion flanges, plus screws and gearbox mounting. The seal at the output shaft and the gearbox mounting in particular are typical wear points to check first – a dried-out or cracked mounting causes vibration and drags more wear into the bearings.

The M30 was used in the 544 series before the switch to the M40 gearbox, which later came with the B18 in the 544 and 445. Always check the design against your car, as parts between the M30 and M40 are not directly interchangeable.
