Volvo Amazon Rear axle
A whine under acceleration or an oil film around the pinion seal are classic signs of a tired 122 rear axle. Since the car was supplied with both Spicer and ENV rear axles in several ratios (including 4.56:1 and 4.1:1), the type and engine determine which parts fit – a common mistake is mixing bearings and seals between the versions.
