A rising temperature gauge in the summer heat and damp traces at the hose connections are classic signs that the cooling system on a B20 122 needs attention. Cracked rubber hoses, clogged radiator fins and dried-out seals let coolant escape slowly, and in the worst case the engine boils over on the first long drive after winter.

This category gathers cooling parts that fit the Volvo 122 with the 118 hp B20 engine for the last two model years, 1969-70. The group includes the radiator, radiator hose and hose clamps, expansion tank, gaskets and O-rings, plus screw and decal. During an overhaul it's common to replace both the upper and lower radiator hose, freshen up the clamps and check the radiator's lower tank for corrosion – that's where leaks most often begin.
Keep in mind that hose routing and connections can differ between the B18 and B20 years, so parts are selected to match the B20 specification for 1969-70 to fit without modification.
