The group includes wheel bolts, wheel nuts and complete wheel nut kits, brake discs, hub caps, decals as well as smaller washers and screws. Four-wheel disc brakes arrived on the 1800E from model year 1970, so rear brake discs are only relevant on the later cars – earlier 1800 models have rear drum brakes, in which case it mainly comes down to wheel mounting and hub caps.
During installation, a common mistake is that wheel bolts are tightened unevenly or with the wrong torque, which causes runout and vibration. Always check the threads in the hub and bolt, and that washers and mating surfaces are clean before you tighten the wheel in a crisscross pattern to the correct torque.
