Torque rod for Volvo Amazon, 1800 1961-65
120, 130, P1800
- Year Model:
- 1957-66
A rattling rear end over bumps and a rear axle that wanders sideways through corners can point to tired bushings and worn-out rubber cushions. The 1800 models from 1961 to 1965 use the original rear axle, and before the M30 axle was introduced on the 1966 model year (chassis #16500) these earlier parts apply – the chassis number should be checked before you order.

This group includes trailing arms, bushings and complete bushing kits, rubber cushions and rubber buffers, plus screws, washers and lock nuts that hold the mountings in place. When refurbishing, it is smart to replace the bushings in pairs and at the same time inspect the rubber buffers that take the load at full suspension travel – cracked buffers are a common checkpoint and can cause knocks against the body and wear the bushings prematurely.
