Leaking freeze plugs and porous coolant hoses are classic starting points when freshening up a B18 block. The 1,778 cc four-cylinder (84.14 x 80 mm) sat in the P1800 from 1961 with twin SU carburettors, and over the years the gaskets, plug holes and mountings begin to show their age.

This group includes freeze plugs, gasket sets, hose, retainer plus screw and nut for fitting, along with engine enamel and a soot cleaning kit to finish the job nicely. During a block rebuild, the freeze plugs' seal and clean threads in the block are typical checkpoints before the cylinder head goes back on.
Note that the crankcase ventilation changed to a closed system from chassis #8453 (1964), which affects hose routing and connections. Always check the chassis number and engine code B18 against the car so that gaskets and parts match your specific version.
