Volvo 140/164 Propeller shaft

Vibration at speed and a clunk when you release the clutch are classic signs of play in the U-joints or a tired center bearing in the middle of the propeller shaft. On the 140/164 the shaft setup differs between engine and year, so the parts are sorted accordingly – from B18/B20 in early 140s to the fuel-injected versions and the 164 with its straight six.
