The group includes gaskets and O-rings to seal the hydraulic circuit, balls and washers for the valve work, studs and nuts for mounting to the box, plus bearings and a transmission pad that absorb wear and vibration. During a rebuild it's wise to check the oil level and filter, valve seals and solenoid operation at the same time — an overdrive that engages sluggishly is just as often caused by low or contaminated oil as by worn internal parts.
