During a head rebuild or decarbonising, a complete set is the safest route – you get the right cylinder head gasket, valve casing gasket and manifold gaskets in one go and avoid half-finished jobs. Bear in mind that the B18A and B18B differ at the carburetor, which affects the intake's seals.
