Throttle control B18A Duett Ch 83400-

Sluggish throttle response, play in the linkage or a throttle arm that doesn't return evenly can often point to worn ball joints and dried-out bushings in the throttle control. On the 445 with the B18A from chassis 83400, the force travels from the pedal through a series of levers and joints to the carburetor, and every worn joint adds dead travel that's noticeable when you open the throttle.

This category gathers the small parts that keep the linkage precise and free of play. The group includes ball joints, levers and bushings together with nuts, washers, spring washers, cotter pins and retaining clips that lock the joints in place. During a rebuild, the ball joints and cotter pins are typical checkpoints – replacing the worn parts at the same time restores a clean and direct throttle response. Bear in mind that the chassis number determines which version fits, so check the fit against Ch 83400- before installation.
