Carburetor Volvo Amazon SUH4 (B16B)
A worn throttle shaft and dried-out gaskets cause air leaks and an uneven idle on the twin SU H4 carburetors feeding the twin-carb B16B engine. The bushings around the throttle shaft are a classic wear point – play there lets in false air and makes synchronizing the two carburetors nearly impossible.
