Repair kit Carburetor SU H4 for Volvo B16
442 kr
A worn throttle shaft and dried-out gaskets cause air leaks and an uneven idle on the twin SU H4 carburetors feeding the twin-carb B16B engine. The bushings around the throttle shaft are a classic wear point – play there lets in false air and makes synchronizing the two carburetors nearly impossible.

This group includes sealing and mechanical wear parts for a complete overhaul: gaskets and copper washers that keep the fuel and vacuum connections tight, springs for return and needle valve, bushings for the throttle shaft, plus screws and lock washers. The repair kits gather the parts typically replaced all at once during a thorough carburetor rebuild.
When rebuilding, the order is often: replace the shaft bushings, fit new gaskets and copper washers, check the springs for tension, and then re-balance the two carburetors against each other for a stable idle and the correct mixture.
