Leaking gaskets between the carburetor body and intake, dried-out O-rings and a tired return spring that causes hanging gas are classic symptoms of a worn Stromberg 175CD. This category gathers the wear and sealing parts that belong to this very constant-depression carburetor on the single-carburetor B18A, the motor that arrived in August 1961 and delivers around 75 hp.

The group includes gaskets and complete gasket sets, O-rings, return springs as well as fasteners such as screw, nut, washer and lock washer. During an overhaul it is wise to replace all the soft seals at once – old gaskets shrink and draw false air, which shows up as an uneven idle and a hard-to-start warm motor. The return spring is a cheap but important check point: a slack spring means the shutter does not close fully.
The parts are gathered for the single-carburetor B18A and should not be mixed up with twin-carburetor systems.
