The group includes brake drums, brake cylinders, mounting kits, return springs, lock washers, thrust pins, rubber caps and brake grease. When overhauling the rear brake, the brake cylinders are a typical checkpoint: if they leak or have glazed seals they should be replaced in pairs, and at the same time it is practical to freshen up the return springs and mounting parts so the shoes bear evenly against the drum.
Bear in mind that the US export cars kept the single-circuit brake system a little way into the model year before the two-circuit system was introduced – so check which master cylinder and routing the car actually has before selecting parts.
