Dropping oil pressure, leaks at the filter mount or a dipstick showing the wrong level are common check points on the B234, the dual overhead camshaft engine in the 940/960. Since the DOHC head has its own sealing surfaces and connections, it is important that the parts are correctly matched to the B234 specifically – the wrong thickness on a washer or a gasket that does not seal tightly quickly leaves new drips on the garage floor.
