Oil cooler Volvo B230ET/FT (-1987)
Oil leaks around the filter housing or rising oil temperature on a hard-driven turbo can point to tired seals in the oil cooler circuit. On the Volvo 740/760/780 with B230ET/FT up to 1987, the oil cooler works against considerably higher heat loads than the naturally aspirated engines, which makes O-rings and washers common check points during service.
