Brittle fuel hoses, a leaking flange gasket or a rough idle after a cold start are common checkpoints on the 240 with the B230A carburetor engine. Since this is a 2.3-litre OHC with a carburetor, the seals and connections differ from the later fuel-injected B230 versions, so fitment is determined by the engine code.
