Fuel line Volvo 240/260 Injection (1976-)
Cracks in aged fuel hoses, damp nipples and a smell of gas in the engine bay are common inspection points on injected 240/260 from 1976 onward. On cars with higher system pressure than the carburetor versions, it is especially important that pipes and hoses are intact and properly clamped, so that no leakage occurs between tank, pump and injection.
