The group includes Fuel Injection Nozzles and nozzle tips, nozzle pipes and Fuel Hose, plus smaller wear parts such as Clamp, Adjusting Washer, Air nipple, Gasket and Washer. The washers under the nozzles are a classic check point – they flatten out and lose their seal with every removal, so they should be replaced as soon as a nozzle has been loosened. During a rebuild it is also worth checking that the nozzle pipe nuts and seating faces are intact before the engine is cranked at full pressure, since even small leaks cause starting problems and unburned exhaust fumes.
