Brittle vacuum hoses and dried-out rubber bushings are classic reasons why the cruise control on an early 240/260 loses its grip or drops speed on an uphill grade. This category gathers wear parts and mounting components for the vacuum-operated cruise control system on cars with B21 and B200 up to 1985.

The group includes the bracket and grommet for the installation, the spring and control bobbin for the linkage to the throttle control, plus hose, nut and rubber bushings that seal and dampen. When the system is rebuilt it pays to replace the entire vacuum hose in one go – the smallest leak in the hose or grommet means the diaphragm won't hold vacuum and the cruise control becomes jerky.
Since the 240 and 260 share much of the control parts, the components can often be combined, but the fit is governed by engine generation and model year up to 1985.
