During a rebuild, pump clearance and oil pressure are common check points – it is a good idea to replace gaskets and seals at the same time so you avoid leaks at the oil pump and pipe mountings. The pressure pipe and grommets are worth inspecting since cracks and poor sealing here directly affect lubrication of the cylinder head and crank assembly.
