Misfiring on a single cylinder, rough idle and sluggish cold starts are classic signs of tired ignition cables – and on the V6 engines B27 and B28 (V6 OHC) there are twice as many ignition leads to keep track of as on the four-cylinder 240 engines. Cracks in the insulation and oxidized contacts leak current, especially in damp weather.

This category gathers ignition parts that fit the V6 in the 262/264/265. The group includes complete ignition cable sets and ignition lead sets as well as individual ignition leads, retainers, anchorages and screws to route the cables neatly around the engine. There are also O-rings and hose that belong to the ignition's mounting.
When overhauling the ignition system it's smart to replace the whole cable set at the same time – mixing old and new leads gives uneven spark distribution. Also check that retainers and anchorages are in place so the cables don't rest against hot parts.
