Shock absorber/Coil spring Volvo PV 444/544
Body roll in corners, a bouncy rear end and squeaks over uneven surfaces can point to tired shock absorbers or worn rear-end bushings on a 444/544. When the suspension has settled it often becomes noticeable with the car loaded, and then the absorbers, springs and their mounts are typical points to check.
