Cylinder head Volvo B14A
Oil mist around the valve cover or moisture at the sides of the cylinder head are common checkpoints on the B14A – the 1414 cc engine producing 51–70 bhp fitted to the 444 in 1955–1956. As the gaskets age, both the valve cover gasket and the freeze plugs become typical places to start looking.
