A drip under the pulley, discolored coolant or an engine that creeps up in temperature on a summer drive – these are the classic signs of a tired water pump on the B18, which arrived in the 544 (Model C) from chassis 330 100 in 1962. This category gathers cooling system parts that fit the 544 and 445/210 with the 1778cc engine between 1962 and 1968, so you can replace a leaking pump and refresh the coolant circuit with the right dimensions.

The group includes water pumps, thermostats, gaskets, seal rings, o-rings, cooling system plugs as well as screws and complete mounting kits. When replacing a pump, it's worth checking the shaft play and the pulley's looseness before removal – a worn pump often produces noise and fluctuating temperature long before it starts to leak. Always replace the gasket and seal rings at the same time as the pump, and take the opportunity to check the thermostat's opening temperature so the engine neither boils nor runs too cold.
