Choke Volvo Amazon (B20B/D)
A stiff choke button or a wire that no longer pulls fully against the carburetor is a common checkpoint on the 122 with the B20 motor, which entered the range in August 1968 for the last model years. This group gathers the parts around the choke linkage: chokewire in several lengths, grommets and complete grommet kits through the cowl, clamps and retainers that secure the routing, plus screw, lock washer and lock clip. During a rebuild it is often the wire's inner cable and the old grommets that have gone stiff – replace them together and you get a springy, firm pull. Check that the length and mounting match the B20B/D setup before installation, since the mounting points can differ between versions.
