Choke Volvo Amazon (B20A)
A sluggish choke cable that binds or fails to return is a common check point on the 122 with the single-carb B20A (90 bhp, from August 1968). The fault often lies in a worn grommet at the cowl wall or a loose clamp that lets the cable play around, making the cold start uneven and the mixture hard to meter.
