This group includes the voltage regulator and generator together with the complete mounting kit: screw, nut plus wave washer and spring washer that lock the anchorage against the engine block's vibrations. When going through the charging system, the typical checks are the regulator's function, the generator's carbon brushes and that the anchorage screws haven't started to wander. Since corroded contacts and loose connections are a known weak point in the 122's electrical system, clean, firm mountings are a simple but important checkpoint during a restoration.
