Control pressure valve K-Jetronic for Volvo 240, 260, 740, 940
140, 240, 740, 940
Rough idling, poor cold starting or a glowing engine light often begins in the sensors and seals around the fuel and intake system. This category gathers the other parts on the Volvo 940/960 that don't belong under pump, tank or pipe, but that still control how cleanly and steadily the engine runs.

The group includes lambda sensors and air mass meters that affect the mixture ratio, fuel filters that catch particles before injection, plus a flame shield for safe ventilation. There are also seals, gaskets, seal rings and fasteners – the small parts that easily become brittle over the years and cause air leaks or moisture in the wrong place.
A typical check point during troubleshooting is to replace seal rings and gaskets at the same time the sensor is removed; a hardened rubber ring readily leaks false air and produces the same symptoms as a tired lambda sensor. New fasteners ensure that hoses and connectors stay put after reassembly.
