The group includes clamps, brackets and hangers for the suspension, sealing rings for the joints, plus supports, heat shields, washers and studs that belong to the mounting. When overhauling the exhaust system, the rubber hangers and clamp bolts are common items to check since they often crumble apart – replace them together to reduce the risk of new rattles shortly after fitting. The sealing ring in the joint should be checked and be intact before you tighten the connection, otherwise it can leak again.
