Charge Air Cooler Volvo 700 (B23/B200/B230)

Cracked charge air hoses and oil-soaked clamps are a common cause of pressure loss and sluggish throttle response on the turbo versions in the 700 series. On B200, B23 and B230 engines with turbo, pressurized air flows from the turbo through the intercooler, and every joint between hose, pipe and clamp is a potential leak point that should be checked when you experience power loss or hissing noises.
